Waste or resource?

We get a lot of waste material in our production. Utilizing leather waste is not just an idea – it is a necessity. Why then? Well - we can't keep throwing away and burning resources. It just won't work. We have to think smarter, braver and more creatively.

Our process!

Our method is simple: test, learn, evaluate, redo, make better.
And suddenly it happens – the solution appears.

Right now we are working in three different ways:

• A project that is remembered in jewelry you can wear.
• A project that becomes something where you can rest for a while.
• A project where we fragment waste and develop a completely new recipe. Together with materials scientist Emeli Höcks, we are working with leather in a completely new way. Can we recover, grind it down and find a binder that makes the material biodegradable?
